Every counselor, pastor, and Bible teacher must learn to handle the Word of Truth correctly. This foundational course equips you with the tools of biblical interpretation — understanding literary genres, historical context, original languages, and cultural backgrounds. You will move beyond proof-texting and learn to draw out the meaning the authors intended under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. From narrative to poetry, from prophecy to epistle, you will learn to let each genre speak on its own terms. The goal is not academic brilliance but faithful, Spirit-led reading that transforms both the reader and those they serve.
The non-negotiable starting point for every serious Bible student. Without sound hermeneutics, people twist Scripture to fit their wounds instead of letting Scripture heal them. This course teaches you how to read the Bible the way it was meant to be read — in context, with integrity, and with the Holy Spirit as your Teacher.
Study the foundational rules of hermeneutics — the grammatical-historical method, the role of the Holy Spirit, and the danger of eisegesis.
