Systematic Theology I

The Doctrine of God & Humanity

8 Weeks4 Credits4 Modules4 Assessments

Course Overview

Theology is not an ivory tower exercise — it is the bedrock upon which all ministry stands. This course studies four essential doctrines: Theology Proper (the nature and character of God), Anthropology (the creation and design of humanity), Hamartiology (the doctrine of sin and the fall), and Providence and Sovereignty (how God governs all things for restoration). You will not merely memorise definitions — you will learn to think theologically about every broken person who sits before you. Understanding that humans are image-bearers, that sin is more than behaviour, and that God is actively working all things together for redemption — these truths will transform how you counsel.

Course Description

You cannot restore the soul if you do not understand the One who created it and why it broke. This course lays the doctrinal foundation — who God is, who humanity is, what sin has done, and how divine providence holds it all together.
